Summer Camps

Next Level Robotics Camp

During this week-long camp students grades 6th-10th will continue developing their code skills, refining the use of sensors on LEGO robots and learning the more advanced code skills needed for FIRST Tech Challenge robotics. They will apply the use of Java in addition to the block style programming they’ve learned in school or on other robotics teams.

This camp is ideal for the middle to high school student who is looking to hone their skills for team play or personal interest in STEAM subjects. Students will also learn some of the basics of robot design and get hands on learning with FTC robots. The week will culminate with a robot showcase where the students will explain their programming structure and the design of their robot and attachments.

Lunch is NOT provided. Students will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch.

LEGO® Robotics Camp

During this week-long camp students grades 4th-8th will learn everything from basic programming techniques to move the EV3 robot to more advanced programming using the different sensors on the EV3 robot. They will also gain experience in mechanical design.

Students will build, program, and design a robot to complete tasks similar to those found in the First LEGO® League competitions. The week will culminate with a Robot Games session and robot showcase where the students will explain their programming structure and the design of their robot and attachments.
